Aquellos que no aprenden de la historia, están condenados a repetirla.-
No suelo usar mi blog para cuestiones políticas, pero estoy realmente triste por lo que está pasando así que este es mi mensaje:
Trump era una (terrible) joda y quedó. Ayer leía que si nosotros pudimos sobrevivir a 12 años de kirchnerismo, ellos se pueden bancar cuatro años de este tipo, pero no tienen idea de lo que hablan y de la magnitud de las consecuencias del poder de una primera potencia. Nosotros no podemos ni tirarle una bombita de agua a Uruguay, pero si este enfermo decide entrar en guerra no quedará ni el polvo para contarlo. ¿Hace falta recordar la última vez que un líder racista y homofóbico llegó al poder y cuántas muertes se cargaron en su nombre con el apoyo del pueblo “nacionalista”? Esto es un completo retroceso, no sólo americano, sino mundial.
Un amigo americano me dijo “el presidente de USA es el presidente del mundo” y lamentablemente es un poco así, en manos de unos pocos está el futuro de todos, querramos o no formar parte. Lamento estas elecciones y el mensaje que dan al resto del mundo, aunque no debieran sorprendernos. El racismo está alrededor nuestro, en todas partes, todo el tiempo.
Por el bien de todos realmente espero que este tipo sea racional y pacífico, porque van a tener que cargar con mucho más que un sticker de “I voted” en sus espaldas.-

I don’t usually use my blog for political things but I’m really sad about what’s going on now so this is my message:
Trump was a (terrible) joke that stayed. Last night, I read that if we, Argentineans, could survive “kirchnerismo” for 12 years, so can they of this man, but they have no idea what they’re talking about and the magnitude of the consequences that a first nation’s power can bring. We cannot even throw a water pump to Uruguay, but if this sick man decides to go to war there will not be even the dust to tell it. Do we need to remember the last time a racist and homophobic leader came to power and how many deaths were borne in his name with the «nationalists» support? This is a complete setback, not only American, but worldwide.
An American friend told me “the president of the USA is the president of the world” and unfortunately it is a bit like that, in the hands of a few it is the future of all, whether or not we want to be part of it. I’m really sad, I regret these elections and the message they give to the rest of the world, although they should not surprise us. Racism is all around us, everywhere, all the time.
For the good of all, I really hope this guy is rational and peaceful, otherwise Americans will have to carry much more than an «I voted» sticker on their backs.-

Lamentablemente es un resultado que no sorprende. En Europa ya es una tendencia marcada, en Colombia en el plebiscito por la paz ganó el NO, la victioria de Trump es una movida más de la misma jugada… Entristece, pero no sorprende…
Muy fuerte la insinuación; a mi también se me cruzó por la cabeza el paralelismo. No se si será tan así realmente, esperemos que no, pero lo que sí se es que un mal final puede perfectamente comenzar con algo que ni se le parece. Ya pasó hace algunas décadas atrás, y estoy seguro que, por más que conscientemente rechacemos que algo así vuelva a pasar, sin que nos demos cuenta la historia se puede repetir. Te recomiendo la película Die Welle, que muestra justamente esto.
